We were truly honored to help sponsor the Annual Santa's Firehouse Cruz-Thru Toy Drive. The event was a success thanks to our local first responders and all volunteers. A special thank you is in order for the Fort Walton Beach Fire Department. Their hard work and dedication gave kids a glimmer if hope on Christmas Day, reminding us what the season is all about.

SERVPRO of Destin, Seaside, and Freeport Shop Manager Anthony Callender led a training session on Dehumidifier Filtration Systems and the best practices to elongate the lifespan of these complex units.

The girls volunteered some time down at The Players Championship in Sawgrass. SERVPRO had a hospitality tent overlooking the green of hole 16 and the best view of the island green at #17. Our team witnessed the first hole-in-one on 17 since 2002 by Will Wilcox. SERVPRO is a proud sponsor of the PGA Tour.

Our marketing team working the Emerald Coast Home Show last fall on Okaloosa Island. They interacted with many locals giving them the latest knowledge on our equipment, protocols, and services.  The marketers also gave out a discount code to everyone who came for a 10% off carpet cleaning.  The tradeshow rolls around each year so make sure that next time you make it by to see us and grab your coupon.

In May, we sponsored Hole #10 at the North Gulf Coast Chapter of CAI's Golf Tournament in Santa Rosa Beach. Great weather and great times!!  CAI is an organization for property managers and CAMS that also allows for vendors to join to provide interaction amongst all members.  

Our marketing team got to tour the new fire station on Hwy 331 in Freeport. Terry, known as "Pop" by most, even gave the girls a ride on the firetruck pictured above. We thank all of our first responders for the hard work they put in day in and day out.

We are fired up to add this new addition to the SERVPRO fleet!  The new truck will help us respond to you in a more efficient manner.  And that fact that she looks so sharp is a plus!

Food For Thought is a local non-profit organization that provides food to children in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. We fully support the actions of Food for Thought and are excited to be volunteering with them in packing snacks in backpacks and delivering them to the local schools. According to the USDA, 15.3 million children under 18 in the United States live in households where they are unable to consistently access enough nutritious food necessary for a healthy life. Today, we stopped by the FFT Destin office and dropped off snacks to be delivered. You can help fight child hunger by donating to their office located in Destin and Santa Rosa Beach.
