Storm Damage – Santa Rosa Beach Home

Storm damage struck this Santa Rosa Beach home When a window in the master bathroom was broken out during a storm. A great deal of water flowed into the bathroom and the adjoining master bedroom suite. Walls along with carpeting were soaked. We arrived quickly and began extracting as much water from the carpeting as possible and boarded up the broken window. The walls in the bathroom were the most severely damaged, and we had to tear out the drywall. The subflooring had also been soaked and required that we tear out the flooring material to properly dry the subfloor. Once we dried the affected area, we applied an antimicrobial agent to inhibit any future mold growth. The after photo shows the area cleaned, dried, and ready for rebuilding.
